Kevin Spirtas’ one-man show “Night & Days” was captured live in a benefit concert at the El Portal Theater, in front of a full house. Kevin, who gained fame as Dr. Craig Wesley on Days of Our Lives, also stood by for Hugh Jackman in The Boy From Oz, The show is a wonderful tour through the highpoints in his career. The climax of the show is when Kevin finally gets to “go on” in The Boy From Oz, and it features the great Peter Allen songs “Everything Old Is New Again,” “Not The Boy Next Door,” “Once Before I Go” and ” Rio .” With a thrilling voice and a great sense of humor, Kevin Spirtas knocks the show out of the ballpark!

Fans worldwide heard Kevin Spirtas, (Dr. Craig Wesley on Days of Our Lives) singing for the very first time on the September 12, 2005 episode of Days. The song was THE SWEETEST OF NIGHTS AND THE FINEST OF DAYS and the occasion was his daughter Chloe’s wedding to beau Brady.
Kevin, who has long used the song as the closing number in his one man show Night and Days, suggested it to producers when he learned that his character was to sing at the TV nuptials. The song is from the score of the popular musical Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, and was written by Judith Viorst and Shelly Markham.
Kevin has earmarked a portion of the CD’s proceeds for
Hurricane Katrina relief.
